Building Allies: Interrupting Bias-Motivated Behaviors  - a unique training opportunity to gain insight on being an ally

This training, sponsored by Boulder Community United and hosted by New Vista High School, will be facilitated by the Anti-Defamation League's trained facilitators.  Open to high school students and adults, the training will draw on participants' own experiences of witnessing, experiencing and, at times, perpetrating bias-motivated acts to identify what being an ally means. Through hands-on activities, participants will explore best practices and enhance skills to stand up and speak out against prejudice in this community.

When: October 29th, 6 – 9 pm

Where: New Vista High School, 700 20th St. (Baseline and 20th Street), Boulder, 80302

Cost: FREE, sponsored by New Vista Student Equity Leadership Co- Hort, The Boulder Anti-Defamation League (ADL), and Boulder Community United (BCU)

Where do I sign up: RSVP to Jennifer@ywcaboulder.org

Be sure to RSVP before October 24th, attendance is limited to 60 people
